How
to get there?
When you get to Nainital or Kaladungi, proceed to Barapathar.
A turn at Barapathar leads you to Pangot via Snow View Points and
Kilbury. On reaching Pangot, the approach to the Woodside Retreat
is a short (2 min) downhill drive. The Retreat is on the left hand
side below the road. The luggage is transferred by our staff.
From Delhi, by road
(Transport can be arranged with prior notice)
Drive from Delhi via Kathgodam and Nainital is logged at 7½
hours.
Drive from Delhi via Kashipur and Kaladhungi is logged at 6½
hours
By Train
Overnight air-conditioned train
from Old Delhi Railway Station (ETD 22:45 hrs) to Kathgodam (ETA
06:15 hrs) and then a further 2 hours drive by car/taxi to Pangot
via Nainital.
Overnight non air-conditioned train from
Old Delhi railway station (ETD 22:45 hrs) to Ramnagar, Corbett National
Park (ETA 05:00 hrs) and thereafter a 2½ hrs drive to Pangot
via Kaladungi.
